The first big rain of the year turned this little creek into a rushing river flowing into the ocean. What starts as a small stream can quickly become a powerful current. This actually happens more often than you might think. By the next day, the waves and tides usually smooth the beach out again, making it look normal. Sometimes, if the waves and tides are big enough, it all happens again the very next day.
