I have talked to him about cleaning supplies and safety regarding them since he was a year old. After many safety talks and boundaries set in place, I recently started letting him help with little things like spraying windex on our windows and he usually does great! He was just a little excited about the car wash experience so I needed to step in. Children usually aren’t trying to be “bad” it’s just that their logic works differently than ours. In his mind, he was solving a bunch of problems and was compromising well.
